wrxmania Posted October 3, 2004 Posted October 3, 2004 Hello all, Took a few pictures of the work of the Wax Wizard today - they are not great as the car was in the garage but you get the idea. Te engine looks great - started off covered in the Subaru Wax sprayed all over the engine, covered in all oil an grime. Gleaming new looking - the pictures really do not do it justice. Oh yeah - and a gratuitous one of my 195,000 miles Nissan Primera diesel looking unusually clean - it was treated by the WRXMANIA Wizard (about 3 weeks ago ) Well done to Mark for some excellent work on the car - don't want to drive it now incase it gets dirty (the weather is horrible here) Anyone else feel free to post up some pics of their cars "wizarded". Brian

Carl Davey Posted October 3, 2004 Posted October 3, 2004 Well, Mark has been working his way through four Scoobies and a Mercedes up in Aberdeenshire today. I'm always sad enough to take pictures before and after so here's the ones of the engine bay. The light was fading by the time i left Jools so no after pics of the exterior. Time for some powder coating to compliment the soon-to-arrive Samcos i reckon!
Stiks Posted October 4, 2004 Posted October 4, 2004 Mark did a stunning job on mine. I'll get the photos up tomorrow. really can't believe the engine bay and alloys. A top man. Keith
Carl Davey Posted October 4, 2004 Posted October 4, 2004 Some pics Jools took of the family fleet, both treated by Mark yesterday.
DEVLIN Posted October 4, 2004 Posted October 4, 2004 Great job Even better " Kerry oot " hiding behind the merc.
Boyakasha Posted October 4, 2004 Posted October 4, 2004 << Great job Even better " Kerry oot " hiding behind the merc. >> Jesus Devlin you must have better eye site than eagle eyes
scuba dou Posted October 5, 2004 Posted October 5, 2004 Devlin, Most impressed; you sure know what a box of Millar?s (or two) look like from a distance Mark did a great job of all the cars and worked for his money on the Sunday. It was gone 11 at night when he left my place. His work is actually great quality and even better value. I was left cleaning products that would cost me over 45 quid alone if I were to buy similar quantities of Auto Glym; shampoo, water based general cleaner, etc. Full marks to him. Carl; thanks for posting the piccies. Your engine bay tells the whole story better than any words I can use!
DEVLIN Posted October 5, 2004 Posted October 5, 2004 Do you have any prices for the full works. Looks as if ths guy really knows his stuff and takes a bit of pride in his work (which is very uncommon these days) Well impressed with Carls engine bay pics.
scuba dou Posted October 5, 2004 Posted October 5, 2004 Cost was 70 quid for the full works, jet wash, clean & polish outside, engine bay, and interior (which includes Scotchgaurd treatment). This price includes a bottle of polish, which he will send to a focal point for the group of cars he has done. RobD will be our focal point in Aberdeen. Additional cleaning stuff with cloths, etc are over and above the 70 quid, but represent tremendous value compared to high street prices. Basically we came away with several ltrs shampoo, several ltrs water based cleaner for wheels, engine bay, etc, a ltr of black to black type cleaner, a couple of polishing cloths, and all for £90. We were all well happy
dougster Posted October 5, 2004 Posted October 5, 2004 The engine bays are easy once you have done one or two. I couldn't get through to meet Mark again, and purchase some engine bay cleaner from him, but I have pics of my own work using his 'orange' based fluids. The Swissol products he helped develop are also very good, but again Mark is concentrating on manufacturing more products of his very own. Engine Bay
DEVLIN Posted October 6, 2004 Posted October 6, 2004 Bargain , are there any plans for him coming to Glasgow. Im sure a few of the guys would club together and have plenty for him to get through
