kxtsti Posted October 6 Posted October 6 (edited) @Scoobtastic @Eddie Bunnett @bigfootjim @monkip1 @JP @Pwbchris Hi All, been a few years since we've seen you at events! How things? Been pretty lively on SIDC during the past few years, with get together and attending the Shows and Meets for full members 🤣 If anyone wants to get back to the lively side and renew their membership to full to see what they could have been enjoying and can still enjoy being part if able to do so. There have been plenty of events posted in the Events Calendar, over the years and current months. Full Members can see the past events in the sub forum and the current events calendar, plus the Full Members Shows and Meets area, which how very lively things have been for Full Members since the Kinda Quite thread started all those years back in March 21, 2015! Us full Members are having a blast Fab get-togethers including our annual SIDC Xmas dinner this November. We all enjoy many events including the annual IOW Scoobfest attended by over 1000 peeps in their Subarus. Yorkshires annual Scoobiefest too. Plus the Cads Meet at Riverside,Silverstone Japfest, Castle Combe Rally Days, JDM Combe. This year's Stage Rally Day too as RallyDay XL was cancelled by the new Castle Combe Circuit Team The team have said RallyDay will be back in 2025 bigger and better! Prodrives 40th was awesome with some new members joining us. Fun, despite the intermittent rain, we sheltered in our SIDC gazebo chatting over refreshments and snacks. Our next event can be seen in Octobers Event Calendar if anyone's interested. The attendees list is in the Full Members Shows and Meets sub forum. If you can make it, there are only 12 days left to purchase a ticket! Be great if peeps could come along and join us again, sometime when able as we have such a lot going on for Full Members and their friends and family's throughout the year which can be seen in the public events calendar 😁 Edited October 6 by kxtsti

Watch out mind, or you might get to be "top poster" of the day from a new post, when it's like this. Kinda Quiet By edmondo March 21, 2015 in South West England That was a long time ago... It's now 2024! How are you all, we have not seen you for a while...? Peeps, have a look at the forum now, if you want to see what's been happening. We are all enjoying getting together, it continues to be an absolute blast If any peeps are interested and able to renew your annual £20.00 memberships to full and catch up with us at events or on the forum sometime, you may see something of interest that you wouldn't want to miss out on SIDC has enjoyed attending many events these last few years and there are still things going on now, which are posted in the Public month by month Events Calendar and the Full Members Shows and Meets sub forum 😀 Seems some of you may still have scoobies 😁 Noticed Monkip posted on social media that he was attending Prodrives 40th Anniversary Celebrations on Sunday 22nd September this year Not seen him on SIDC since 2022! kxtsti Posted October 6 Posted October 6 (edited) Hi Ed, We did see some peeps without Scoobies coming along a little later after we have arrived to set up the club stand. Not quite the same, I know. There was a variety of cars in the club stand areas at Castlecombe Stage RallyDay from Mitsubishi, Hillman Imps, Minis, Fords and Subarus etc. Our gazebo was in a prime spot facing the racing action whilst we enjoyed hot tea and coffee with hot sausage and bacon rolls. The weather was kind, only a slight wind and a tiny spot of rain for a couple of minutes. So we had a good day. Not so many attended, though. A few empty club stands dotted about. A lot were probably disappointed like we were that RallyDay was cancelled. So not many of us went, as peeps didn't show much interest in buying tickets. Edited October 9 by kxtsti 1
