Edinburgh Rolling Road & Suspension Alignment

Hi Guys

Colin from MSW is back! Some of you will remember I had a lovely 22b but the recession forced me to sell it unfortunately. I now have an immaculate 1998 Typr R V5 which is what the 22b was based on and i hate to say it but it is way more fun to drive and was a fifth the price! I have just moved from the west through to Edinburgh and am looking for a good rolling road and a good place for suspension alignment. The place to go in the west is Kenny Brown in Hillington - is there anybody as good through here? Thanks! :-) Colin

Was saying theres nowhere realy in edinburgh id say. There is CTC car tuning clinic but ive heard some bad reveiws

know lots of people use dunc i think at hypertech in bonnybridge near falkirk or theres dastek over at inverkeithing

On short notice when i bought new wheels on discount at farmers i used them for a wheel alignment and they werent to bad.

Hi Colin, good to speak to you the other night again.

Probably the best place is Progrip in Bonnybridge, while Dastek or now known as HQ are good they tend to specialise in Evos, but by all means give HQ a call and ask for Gerry Gaffney, afer all hes one of the STRC championship sponsors ;-)

I believe Dastek have had some staff changes recently as a friend of mine used them once or twice and I was a bit unsure of them but thats just my opinion. Hypertech seem to have a great modern set up for alignment, I will be looking at using them for my anti lift kit and alignment/geometry set up.

john at progrip , he is now at larbert right next to the motorway junction for the hospital ,01324 557071, john is the original and the best all the others learnt from him , only 20 mins from Edinburgh or Glasgow
