Weekly Safety Camera Updates North East & Grampian/highlands

Recommended Posts

As seems normal Aberdeen haven't published anything again so here are the details from the Northern Safety Camera Partnership

Get Ready For Winter – Northern Safety Camera Partnership deployment intentions w/c 11 November 2013

Northern Safety Camera Partnership Manager, Dougie Bennion, said: “The weather conditions are changing and it’s a good time to check your vehicle in advance of the winter:-
· Check your anti freeze, replace worn or damaged wiper blades, stock up on de-icer and make sure that your screen wash is strong enough to cope with frosty conditions.
· Adjust your speed according to the road and weather conditions; there will be times when the speed limit will be too fast.
· Stopping distances increase considerably in frosty or wet weather. Look further ahead than usual and allow for the extra time needed to stop.
· Always ensure windows, lights and mirrors are clear of dirt before setting off. “
