Northern Safety Camera Partnership Manager, Dougie Bennion urges drivers to look out for bikers:

“As the weather improves and summer approaches the number of motorcyclists sharing the road space increases so please look out for bikers as you are approaching junctions, changing lanes, turning (left or right) and before you open your doors when parked.”

Subject to operational exigencies, the Northern Safety Camera Partnership Mobile Camera Unit will be operating at the following locations for week commencing 15 April 2013:

Badenoch, Strathspey & Nairnshire

A95 - Drumuillie, by Boat of Garden

A939 - Ferness to Grantown on Spey

A96 - Gollanfield, by Nairn

A96 - East Auldearn Junction, by Nairn

A95 - North of Cromdale

A9 - Near Dalwhinnie

A9 - North of Dalwhinnie Junction

A95 - Congash Farm, by Grantown on Spey

Lochaber

A82 - Near White Corries, Rannoch Moor, Lochaber

A82 - Kingshouse Hotel, Glencoe

A86 near to Spean Bridge Primary School

Ross & Cromarty

A834 - Strathpeffer Road, Dingwall

Inverness

A82 - Invergarry Power Station

All our camera sites have a proven history of collisions and evidence of speeding vehicles. We may from time to time use mobile cameras at other sites where both vehicle and road users are at greater risk, such as road works.
