kennyuk300
Hi guys and gals ,my problem is with my dipped headlight bulb .UK300 Prodrive unit with H7 bulb . For a few days the nearside one would go out ,i would either give the light a knock ( Fonz style)or open the bonnet and wiggle the connectors and it would come back on but the other night it would not .. I changed the bulb but it would not light either ,i sprayed the connections with electrical cleaner and put back together .It did light up but with a very dull orange glow .. The connector at the loom is a 3 spade type with only 2 wires going to the bulb itself ,where does the 3rd go to ?? .I ran 2 wires from this to the bulb but with the same effect ,orange glow .. Can anyone shed some light on this ,and enlightenment would be of help P.S any cheek and you will get lamped Link to comment
badbaz
Earth fault most likely Kenny, the wire will be corroded in the plug, can you identify the earth and power, if so run a wire from the battery to prove either earth or positive at fault Link to comment
