Dunno about the laptime but you should beat that quarter mile time easily if you're willing to be brutal with the launch.

Have no got alot of experience of knockhill but managed 62 with the old car with 2.1 and 20g so hopefully with some training, improved spool and better suspension i should be able to do it. As for 1/4 mile I have no problem launching it. Was doing a full bore 6k launch when I ran 11.68 and have the transmission to handle it :Scottish-flag:

Is that the ppg kit? I have the same and found the limits of one of the standard parts the kit doesn't replace doing the same

What is that? I will take my chances :)

That was a drop gear. It lives in the centre diff and takes power to the rear wheels. Snapped it clean in two and left me with the fastest FWD subaru at crail that day.

I have a spare set of drop gears so not so concerned. If it breaks it breaks will just have to make it better so it doesn't break

Well engine issue is still not really identified.

It seems to only knock when cornering. Car drives normally but the idle is poop

I have the forged 2.1 in my old car so it's coming out and will be fitted into the P1 with AVCS heads

Started stripping the old car for the engine coming out this week

frontstripped.jpg

Must remember in future that you need to release the refrigerant gas in the air conditioning before undoing connections :)

Will be fitting the reverse inlet manifold manifold so air con will be going in the bin.

Well picked up the AVCS heads.

Never actually got around to pulling the 2.1 out of my old car yet.

Plan however is to pull out the 2.1 and stick it on a stand and clean it up and paint it.

Pull the engine out of the P1.

Full respray due to now having own paint shop in the garage ( don't worry also have a mate who is a paint sprayer to actually paint it )

Engine bay will also get painted to match the external colour of the car.

Have the wheels blasted and the painted (colour yet undecided graphite or gold?

Clean up all brackets, inlet manifold etc and paint them.

Strip all the suspension parts off the car have them grit blasted then paint everything and polly bush the whole car.

Then rebuild it all with all the tasty bits I have and hopefully we will have a mint 450-500bhp P1.

I appologise for the lack of pics.

All will start when i get home 2nd of october and the car will.....will....will be back on the road for my 30th at the end of March

Anthracite or black for wheels, you put gold wheels on and it'll look like a type r trying to be a p1.

Keeping the external colour sonic blue?

Of course staying sonic Blue. Some P1's came with gold wheels as standard. Could go bright silver

The bright flitter is nice on the P1.

Didn't know some came with gold wheels, a factory option I guess.

Yes they came with 17" or 18" wheels in gold, anthracite or silver

Blimey! thats more than youve managed in the last three years - did someone slip you a gallon of red bull for brekkie? :D

No new garage 100 yards from the house gave me motivation.

Next is P1 engine out and full respray plus a little bit of attention to detail when it comes to the underbody
