stum450n Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 There any signs of the 95 running short down there? Heading down at the weekend and was hoping to fill up - its £146.9 here for crappy sainsburys fuel
rich 300 Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Tesco have momentum in again, run that in mine without any issues. Have read a thread on Scoobynet by a mapper who was saying that it comes a close second to v power

Have read a thread on Scoobynet by a mapper who was saying that it comes a close second to v power hey stu 95 will be there as they keep getting normal delivery for 95 but wont be getting any diesel or v power till the end of the week and £1.46 is fair expensive ain't it? its nearly that for v power down here and its £1.39 for shell 95 so you should be ok if your coming down hey rich was gonna try tesco but didn't bother as mine will be fine on 95 as it is a standard uk wrx so thought i might as well stick some in but only until v power arrive's in which case i will reset the ecu so it learns it back to v power
johnmacdonald Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 The few times during the years when I have had no option but to use 95, including last week, a dose of Millers octane booster appears to work very well...
plodster Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Only problem with Millers is that 1 x 500ml bottle is only treating 20 litres of fuel. Meaning over a full take you gain maybe 1.5-2 octane points if lucky and in that case might as well use normal 97-ron super. V-Power aplenty over Wiltshire way at the moment, 146-148 depending......
j wrx tonkins Posted April 4, 2012 Author Posted April 4, 2012 do you lads need V power in your sports? Maybe you could do with some 95 for that funny coloured scoob you have, may make it go faster eh
