Super unleased

Hi,

Coming over for a week soon and just wondering if I will be able to get super unleaded? Last time I was over it was for Scoobyfest in 2004 and I don't think you had it then?

Yep, we've got Super. Total garages do their Excellium 97 RON and Manx Petroleums are a Shell distributor so their super unleaded 'should' be V-Power, that's what I've been filling up with anyway

That will be cheaper by a long way, over 152.9 at the mo here, however if they search your car and find them they'll make you empty them before they let you on the boat :-( I always brim the tank just before getting on the boat.

Strictly speaking it's not V power they have here. They apparently blend their own from normal premium unleaded. Supposed to be slightly better? Mine runs on it well enough and every Scooby I know always fills up at the Milestone on Peel road, Douglas. It's the one next to Mcdonalds on the way out of the town centre towards Quarterbridge.

We use it because, with the volumes they do, it's the only one you can depend on being relatively fresh.

Excellent, I've got a couple of bottles of Millers octane booster so I'll chuck one in if/when I fill up. Just the car was mapped for Momentum/V-power so I don't want to stick normal unleaded in.
