davey l wrx
Well with the decent weather i didn't have an excuse anymore.... I tried out the new polishing machine on the C4 yesterday and today it was the turn of the Hawk. There were a few screatches that i wanted removed and it needed a good spruce up. So it was washed, tar removed (auto glym Tar and Bug Remover), clayed, polished (dual action machine with fine a fine cutting polish), Primed, sealed and glossed (Workstat 3 part treatment). After an arm busting 5 1/2 hours these are the results.... Now all i need to do is clear enough space in the garage so it'll fit and wont get covered in bird crap every day!! Link to comment

davey l wrx
Been there before had a white car years ago and said never again. I was a pain in the ass to keep it clean. Since then all i've had is dark colours. Easier to look clean as you struggle to see the tar spots on it Link to comment
scooby222
looking good - werksat acrylic brings wr blue up a treat, been tempted to try other products but it works so well! Link to comment
davey l wrx
It's the first time i've used it, i used dodo juice blue velvet on the blob but the guys at polished bliss said it wasn't needed on a scooby and recommended the Workstat kit. Can't complain about the finish. Good thing with the workstat kit is it's in the spray bottles so it's easy to re-do the car when it's needed i suppose. Might even keep the Gloss bottle in the boot for when it's needed.... Edited March 28, 2012 by davey l wrx Link to comment
