hello there.

i am looking for some advice and recommendations please.

i bought a subaru sti blobeye which said on the dvla docs it was a uk model. after i bought it and done some research found out its actualy an import. its a 2005 model on a 2004 regy.

i am looking to get the underneath treated as i found out it dosent have this done propely and is starting to look a bit tatty. i am wondering what my best option would be and where can i get a good job done properly. thanks in advance.

I'm sure Andy at RA in Perth was doing this.

Thanks paul.

i will keep him in mind but was looking for somebody in glasgow preferably.

i stay just outide the east side and it would make it easier for me to drop my car off.

as i understand it will take a few days, is this correct ?

my wife gets lost easily so her going to perth would end up with me getting a phone call from penrith asking for directions from the bit off grass next to the wee shop with the bank at it :)

i believe RA were doing it for sidc members for 80 quid, takes 2 - 3 hours to do and if you ask nicely theyd even do it on a saturday ;)

failing that any decent bodyshop should be able to do that for you mate - o and welcome along :D

Welcome along , try wc shields there based in airdrie , I have used them to paint various parts over the years and a top job, this may also be something they do.

I couldnt do the prep in less than a few days so fail to understand the drive in out situation. If some one wants to enlighten me in how you cam completely clean underside before undersealing i would be much obliged, otherwise entire task is pointless and will do more damage than good.
