thebigfelly Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 hey again folks following on from my clutch suggestions post , just wondering if any mechanics/experts /folk in the know would know if a used clutch with low miles on it would be a temp fix/replacement until after my wedding next august where funds will be freed up again to get a new one. looking at maybe i do 5000miles a year if your lucky , so cars not overly used, so would a clutch for a 2003 blob same as mine match up ok and run ok for the next 12months/5000miles? cheers in advance to any info provided
badbaz Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 Risky strategy, but you can only p!sh with cock you've got People don't often remove perfectly good clutches. What's the story behind the one you've got your eye on? Worst case - you need take it out again. How much will that be?
johnnyr6 Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 I did this, got an exedy stage 1 clutch with little use cheap so went for it. The clutch was in good condition and kept me going for 2 years until i sold the engine. I knew where it came from and why it was coming out so had no worries. If its a good one it could be worth it. Johnny.
