baldobaz Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Had a bit of an off this morn going onto the M74 slip road at larkhall, fuel spill, full 180 that ended up with me on the verge and into the crash barrier, result is a broken headlight, a slightly pushed in wing with broken paint and some large scuffs on the bumper. Ive sourced a headlight through ebay, but can anybody recommend a reasonable bodyshop/painter/panels beater. I reckon the wing is gonna need painted along with the bumper. All help appreciated.
rig-pig Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 not good m8 hope you can get it fixed at not to much cost

dougieboy Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 I have a guy that i use in stonehouse he does a good job and at a reasonable price.
baldobaz Posted October 30, 2011 Author Posted October 30, 2011 Thing is i need the car for work etc due to my ungodly start time of 4:30am, so i am thinking of just trying to source a replacement wing, drop it to the paint shop and have them fit it once ready, i recon this will be cheaper than trying to pull the crease out the exsisting wing, i had a go at trying to remove the headlight today but the wing has been pushed into it trapping the headlight behind it, just hope the inner wing is ok.
john_mchutchison Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 I just got my car repaired recently in a bodyshop in Bellshill, which is not far from larky, they are called A+E. Done a good job at a good price.
baldobaz Posted October 30, 2011 Author Posted October 30, 2011 Hey mate, i stay in bellshill, could you send me the details of the place. Much appreciated.
baldobaz Posted October 31, 2011 Author Posted October 31, 2011 Ta for all the advice guys, i have my scoob going to A+E in bellshill, quoted £250 for the work which i think is reasonable, will post a review and photos of there work. Next thing is getting the geometry set up, and then work on all the little niggles.
john_mchutchison Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Sorry i didnt get back to you mate but glad you got it booked in. And they did the geometry on my car as well, i just gave them the settings i got at hypertech, 0.5 front negative camber and neutral rear, big Alec will do it for you
