Jack / Axel Stands to borrow ?

Got me a set of mudflaps to fit, but by the looks of things the back wheels need to come off so I can get access to bend the bracket to get it secured properly. Not keen on having the car sitting on the jack when I do this, so wondered if any of the Dundee/Tayside lads had some I could borrow for a couple of hours ?

Cheers Chris.

i have 2 set's you can borrow 1 for a while if you want, give you a chance to OCD clean at the back of the wheels ect, also have drive on ramps if you want a shot as you will get on just now before the car is lowered ??

cheers guys, fronts should be easy enough to do but the backs look a little tight without whipping off the wheels.

Just fitted my 1st mod, Green Panel Filter - will hopefully get some time this weekend to do the flaps. Wont really need them for long, couple of hours at most. Cars not lowered, looking at some BC's for next year though.

BTW - Need to thank you Chris... after you drove past me and the mrs last night, she commented that the hawkeye doesn't sound as good as the classic, I explained that it was cos it has a crappy powerflow system instead of an proper aftermarket one - then she said, "oh well, you can just buy a new one" Sweet !!

I hate not being able to get mine up the drive on ramps now it's lowered

I used to use a couple stong planks of wood and some bricks underneith to give it a shallower slope to get onto the ramps.. Necessity is the mother of invention afterall :wizard:

its a pain but if you have a few bob, http://www.cjautos.site90.net/hyramp.html

That's really quite neat!! Not too badly priced.. Expected them to cost more than that TBH!

Yeah maybe. I want something that makes it sound similar to the Classic, nothing too loud as I don't want to make the wee one deaf when he/she arrives. Powerflow is ok but for what the previous owner paid to get it made they would have been better off putting the money to something decent.
