Which Exhaust is best?

Looking for other peoples opinions here?

I've got a 2003 blobeye STi with full prodrive pack fitted.

Im thinking of changing the prodrive exhaust for something else but dont know which to go for!!

If i change the exhaust then would the car have to be remapped to suit or is it only if i remove the cats?

Hi.

You wont need a remap if your just changing the catback or backbox. Plenty of exhausts about to choose from. Lots of clips on youtube. What are you looking for, louder?

i had full 3" turbo back heatwrapped down pipe.

then full vortex after burner 3" system

sounded mint in my modest opinion

had rcm gt2 soec headers and up pipe too

had a full blitz nur spec too - that was also nice

if removing cats i think a remap is in order, if there closed loop and lamba after cat - let experts correct me if im wrong

thanks so far for your ideas, on my old 2003 STi blobeye i had a meercat snakeshead downpipe with a custom mid and rear section (i think) not 100% sure, Sounded great! It had been remapped by Andy Forrest and was running about 340bhp.

Has anyone got or ever had a Milltek exhaust on their Impreza? If so - any good??

go for the blitz nurspec r! ive got one with a japspeed downpipe and it sounds amazing!

Thanks for all the replies,

I finally made up my mind and went for the Blitz Nur spec R.

Does sound and look fantastic especially whilst giving it some oomph!!

A little noisy on the motorway but cant have everything i suppose.

All i need now is a BOV and i'll be happy.
