MOT time

Took my car for its MOT on Thursday. I had a voucher for money off an MOT at Kwik Fit. So though I would take it there and treat it like a pre-MOT check over and then get it MOT'd elsewhere as Kwik Fit are notorious for ripping you off. Right enough car failed on. Headlight allignment, a number plate bulb out and emmisions where too high Also had a couple of advisories, one being a slight blow in exhaust. The tester turned round after test and said to give him 5 mins. He sorted the headlight, stuck a new bulb in number plate light and then sorted the blow in exhaust which in turn lowered emmisions and resulted in a pass for the car. And the best thing was all in I paid £25, thats including the cost of the MOT. Just shows even Kwik Fit have some really nice guys working for them. Thumbs up to Mr Scott (MOT Tester) Cheers mate.

My wife uses the Kwikfit in Helensburgh all the time - they're the same, dead helpfull and definately not a rip off (not in out experience over a couple of years anyway)
