Ace tyres- Falkirk

Has anyone ever used Ace tyres in Falkirk before as I've had a decent quote for new tyres and I've never used them before?

Any good or bad experiences - I'd be welcome to hear of. Or perhaps could anyone recommend anywhere else in the surrounding area. Im awaiting quote from Skidz in Falkirk. Thanks in advance.

Oh whats folks thoughts on how suitable their Impreza is for a baby on-board? In terms of noise and bumpyness of the ride for getting one to sleep? I've got one on the way!!! - My first!

Never used Ace tyres but if the price is right???

I havent ever found Skidz to have the most customer friendly service. The best price i got for my last tyres was Mcconechys, better price then Camskill, Blackcircles etc!

I've used Ace Tyres (Robert) on a good few occasions now for various cars. Always had great prices and efficient Service

i had bad experience from ace tyres took chunks out sidewall on my landrover tyres when changing over tyres to new wheels,

place seemed a carry on ill never go back or tell anyone to go there.

I can't really comment on Ace Tyres, but do know that when buying a Newage, I bought WRX instead of a STi as I thought the suspension on a STi was too stiff and uncompromising. I realise that money is tight when a new addition is imminent, but I had a set of KW coilovers on a classic I had, and the initial dampimg on them was fantastic, and would make an STi a far better day to day family car.

Yeah I was wondering if the car would've been too bumpy. We'll soon find out! It's a Newage STi and I currently need to replace 1 front and rear shock but I'm hoping to find someone getting rid of used ones in a decent condition as funds aren't available at the mo for Coilovers.

I recently found out there was another company in Falkirk with the same name. I actually got the tyres fitted yesterday by Ace Tyres in Falkirk. If I'd known about yourselves sooner I would've phoned. I'll keep you in mind for next time.

Have you tried Jim Dickson in Cumbernauld been using him for years and always had really good prices and never had an issue with an alloy and he has swapped a LOT of tyres for me on my RA.
