Uk 300 2002 Model

Hi there, I am looking into going for a UK300 2002 model and I am seeing conflicting reports about power outputs, some say 215 and others say 245/250. Some say the ppp was still and option and others say that it came standard. I am a little confused, which was it?

I am looking for more power as my my1999 classic was remapped by AndyF and liked that extra mid range torque. But I could probably live with the 215.... maybe :)

thanks Kenny and tell me is yours £445 a year to road tax. I have just looked into that and it gave me heart failure.

Edit---------

Band K includes cars that have a CO2 figure over 225g/km but were registered before 23 March 2006 --£260

Just got my tax in Feb and it was £245  Not sure if there was an increase witht the budget thought..

If you are not sure about the PPP pack ,the intercooler Y pipe is a blue Prodrive one and the Backbox is again a Prodrive one ...HTH

yeah looking again at the Gov site it's £260 so that's not as bad :)

Thanks for that kenny, anything else I should look out for? If I get it, it will be the first newage I have had. Is it basically the same as the uk classic with a different body....

Yeah they used some bits from the Classic on it ,Knocking rear struts is the most common fault on the Newages

Only other problem i have had with it was the Uppipe leaking....When are you getting it ??

Yeah, and the guy didn't know, was going to check the paperwork. He doesn't know anything about the car really. You can tell by how much detail there is in the ad :)

Pics????

Ebay no #200591442016

Red with a little black, and carbon effect on spoiler, like it :) too high a mileage for me though.

That seems really expensive to me given what blobeye WRX's in excellent condition with some mods are going for. I looked at selling my 55 Plate WRX and thought around 7K with the mods was fair but £5500 for one that price :o

you know the green classic has been the hardest car to replace in my life, It's taken me weeks to try and find cars that I like, and Gordon yours is one, and I am tying myself into knots looking for something that I can't put my finger on....

I want

Around 250 up bhp cause I got the classic remapped by AndyF

I actually don't WANT blue (but....)

I initially wanted a type r but insurance company doesn't like imports and not keen on spending the money on an older car...

It really just needs to catch my eye and This Bug did but lost out by £200

so I feel like I am bouncing around from car to car at the mo.... stressing myself out... getting nowhere fast.

unfortunatly no PPP and boy I noticed the accelaration difference but I'll work on that, certainly feels more planted on the road though, maybe a PHP?
