Got my self a new car .

Recommended Posts

After having Sam we found out the Focus was not big enough and with petrol being at £1.40 the Scooby was not practible to run the whole time so we looked for a new car and this is what we bought. Its a Mondeo Titanium X with the sport pack, sat/nav and so on, christ i like it

Very nice indeed – I like that a lot! You should see my scabby wee shopping car :D

I'll bet the Mondy handles at least as well as a factory standard Scooby too? (aside from the FWD).

Yeah it handles pretty good indeed its a good bit softer than any Scoob but it feels a smaller car than it really is in the corners. another pick of it.

When my mate got paid off he started up on his own & he got a similar one to yours, six months old, 6,000mls on the clock all the toys £13500, an awful lot of car for the money & it has a caverness boot if your'e transporting stuff,

Yeah i cant believe what ya get in them, they even come with voice activated everything eg you can tell it what temp you want your climate set at or what CD you want even what track. Its got heated seats with an electric adjustable drivers seat. The see me home lights take some getting used too . The boot is massive i mean I'm 5ft 10" and i can sit with my back against any point of the boot and am no where near touching the other side. Also when i was taking the car home i was getting 62.3 mpg that's 42.3 mpg more than the Scoob  i really cant talk highly enough about this car I'm some happy with it.

Hi Fella,

I used to have one of them as my last company car, it replaced a 330cd M-sport, mine was the 2.2 Titanium X Sport in silver, they have loads of extras and although I thought the 330 would be difficult to replace, it managed it as an overall package. Not quite as prestigious - but every bit a cracking car!!!

Aye, I guess I was thinking of the handling balance, the standard Scoobs like many a modern car often being a bit more roly-poly at the back than they are at the front (hence the popular rear ARB upgrade).

I was chatting to someone the other day who maintained that the recent Mondeos aren't quite the drivers' cars that the older models were. I've never driven one, so I wouldn't know, but yours certainly looks the part and obviously has a great spec!
