rallyfever Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 (edited) Hi All, As the title suggests I am going to see this http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2366695.htm on Sunday as a straight swap for my Audi http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1848425.htm Anybody got any thoughts if this is a good deal or not - been without a Scoob for a while now and after having the Audi advertised for a while and not having anyone come up with a decent Impreza I thought it was pretty close to the mark. Feedback welcome. Cheers Gary Edited February 1, 2011 by rallyfever

arch Posted February 1, 2011 Posted February 1, 2011 Looked at your audi a few times when you put it up for sale a while back, had tow car written all over it, but mileage put me off a little and didnt want to take the hit on my blobeye wrx.

The mileage is backed by a full Audi service history, 90k and ready for another 110,000 at least - to be honest I would have had to let you down as a WRX is not my cup of tea, always had STi's - and probably always will. arch Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Lol you wouldnt have let me down coz I didnt pursue it as it wasnt right for me, good luck for the weekend tho.

zeolite Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 That is exactly the price I was offered for my 2008 GB270!
rallyfever Posted February 5, 2011 Author Posted February 5, 2011 Not a happy chappy at all!!!! The guy just text me saying he would need at least £500 on top of the Audi after saying he had done some research and it said the Scoob was worth that much more than the A6. Funny thing is, I had done he same and on Parkers and What Car valuations it put the A6 at £500 more than the Scoob, but in the end thought "what the hell as it's a car I really want and the car I have is what he really wants - so whats the point arguing the toss over £500" The search continues for the Impreza - once again - feckin gutted man!!!! Gary

rallyfever Posted February 6, 2011 Author Posted February 6, 2011 Just had a look on Pistonheads and the advert has been removed, maybe he has sold it. Still, no need to string people along saying a deal has been done - when it clearly wasn't. Trust someone from the Police - hmmmmmmm!!!!!!!

rallyfever Posted February 27, 2011 Author Posted February 27, 2011 Hi All, At last I am back in a Scoob, No4 has been bought, a 2006 Hawkeye STi in black with 340/340, all the work has been done by Powerstation UK including a full Miltek system, upgraded fuel pump, K&N filter and a couple of other nice bits including some tidy 18x8 Speedline Corse Turini Freeflowing shoes in gold, a Zun Sport grill pack, and a wee remap. I will get some pics up at the weekend, in bloody Coventry this week on a course for work so after only 1 day I have been parted with my new toy for 5 - bloody nightmare!!!! Chuffed to bits.
