Ive been running Toyo's on my Hawk for the past year no probas at all! Cheers Paul
G.Mac Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 (edited) See what acetingtong can do as always good to keep money in the club where possible I see Camskill have no stock of F1 GSD3's but another tyre on par is the Toyo T1R which can be had for £70 quid each from them http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m54b0s16p1697 I have had these fitted and did't notice any difference from the goodyears I can also recomend the verdaerdasteinan (ok I will just copy and paste) VREDESTEIN ULTRAC SESSANTA (caps because that is what I copied) very good in the wet but need to run a wee bit higher tyre pressures with them. Very good in the wet and still below your quote even when you factor in fitting http://www.camskill.co.uk/products.php?plid=m54b0s16p12403 Graeme (ps i realy liked the 070's except when it was greasy) Edited January 10, 2011 by G.Mac

Awesome in the corners and really good in the wet. Yet to track them but so far they are performing on par with the F1's (Eagle that is)

Graeme, Please excuse my ignorance if I should know but I'd be interested in your thoughts behind on running at higher pressures as I've got them at stock just now. Cheers, Pete
dougie549 Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Hi Davie Always had the goodyear eagles, last ones i had were the GSD3s but had to remove and replace as all had split across the width of the tyre, very scary with the speed and pressure they take. Why dont you try the Goodyear Assymetricals? i have them on the Bmw now and really like them, no probs in the snow either over the crimbo period, From mine they are £200 a corner though. OOh and while i am talking about that cheers for waving back ya ignorant git, you was coming past the Louon academy just about to hit the A71 at Galston, it was during the holidays, didnt think you would reconise the BMW and me driving it. Cheers Dougie
