Well now the RS is finished started on the RA today, four new wellie boots fitted might stop me sliding around, new STI centre caps as the salt tarnished them, service & MOT booked & some Whiteline poly bushes etc for the undercarraige, started to get some of the salt & tar removed today as well so it's starting to look the part again.

Must say after 16 years of subaru ownership I finally took the RS out to play on some of the back roads since it was a nice dry day & the handling is superb, after spending £0000's modding the scoobs brakes & suspension the standard stuff on the RS beats my scoobs hands down

Nope the RA is staying in Bobby's stable, when I do decide to sell it Dave you'll get first shout, tkink I might have to get some paintwork done again this year starting to get a wee bit rust coming through in the usual places, but hey it is 17 years young

Mod no. 1 today - Whiteline 22mm rear ARB (+ bushes) and Whiteline bushes for stock front ARB

Haven't had a chance to properly test it, too much traffic and the drizzle had started to soak into the road salt - however on the few wee twisty bits where I did get a chance to up the pace a bit it felt really nice - noticeably more 'pointy' and composed than before! B)

it's so good to what it was they must have been well out from getting springs fitted and up to 17" from 16" wheels. would be more enjoyable if their was some dry non greasy roads for a few days :D

Sounds nice.

Aye, the greasy roads are a pain - even when they appear quite dry they can be a bit slithery.

last month saw ,rear off side - strut, hub, con rods which cost a few ££££'s , this month saw MOT/SERVICE,road tax, ninja 2 back box , scoop respray , and stoptech brake pads on the front , all in all an expensive couple months ,

get my bonus from work this fri and next month a possible service award for working in hell which should give another couple hundered quid . so im thinking either some gauges and pods, or header unit or anti roll bars, or maybe even some samco hoses to tart up the engine bay , even thought about a stop to paul at ultimate shine to treat my car , still deciding tho
