scoobywho Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 Has anyone had issues with their heaters taking 10 miles to warm up classic 2001 running full premix antifreeze. Cheers scott
burgy_51_ Posted December 8, 2010 Posted December 8, 2010 I think mines is just the same mate , i was just putting it down to under the bonnet being a lot more colder or should i say "FREZZING" than normal mate.
maddogsx Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 Mine seemed to take a fairly long time to come up to temp the other day, or hot air temp at least. I checked the coolant system as a precaution but reckon it's just down to the ambient temp being so low.
killbill Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 mines heats up just as quick new rad and fresh coolant in october maybe helping a little. BUT i have noticed a slight drip of coolant on the top of the header tank maybe the alloy pipes havea crack or something
scoobywho Posted December 9, 2010 Author Posted December 9, 2010 I thought the heater matrix was gone as my shoes got soaked but it was ice on the bulkhead pushed the grommet through
