notsosmall Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 hope you know what your doing if attacking you car with a machine and G3!? G3 is very aggressive!!! you will lose a lot of paint very quickly!
subarucraig Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 ohh owch watch your paintwork mate if your using g3 with a machine you just need a dot on each panel and a frecla polishing foam is good its softer than a compounding head hope this helps

Ultimate Shine Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 Subaru paint can be a bit tempremental with compounds due to its sticky nature. There is no right or wrong product to use but you will know when you are using the wrong stuff trust me. If you are wanting to do the job yourself i don't mind you coming through and we try a few different ones on the paint with different pads find the right combo and i will supply you with the combo that works. Some subarus work with no problems like my 04 WRX has no issues but i have worked on some that even give me a few head scratching moments but the joy of detailing always pays off with a happy customer. Like i say mate you are more than welcome, bring you machine through so no alternating factors. As a matter of fact this might be an idea to offer a tuition day for 3 possibly 4 guys to machine their own cars and i will help you and supply the tea and buscuits!! An idea let me know what you think? Paul.
StewartyBoy Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 I'd book in for a day of that. Mines a black Saab, so if anyone doesnt mind my pipe and slippers its definately a go'er.
paulc555 Posted September 25, 2010 Posted September 25, 2010 If you are looking for 3M materials feel free to drop me a pm
