ScoobE Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 Mine is a 1997 UK Turbo 2000 and came with a facelift bonnet, headlights and grille, but had a pre-facelift bumper. This is a close up view of my facelift headlights; That should give you an idea as to the ones you need.
chrisatno11 Posted September 22, 2010 Author Posted September 22, 2010 Guys thank you - sorry not to have been back on lately ScoobE - without wishing to saound to nerdy maybe we could compare as I live in Kempsford and drive past Cirencester on the way back from work ....I'll also get a pic on here regards Chris
little vodka goblin Posted September 22, 2010 Posted September 22, 2010 The position of the vents on the bonnet should help differentiate between pre-facelift/facelift as well. Best thing to do is put up some pics of the front end of the car and people will be able to answer your question no problem.
chrisatno11 Posted September 22, 2010 Author Posted September 22, 2010 thank you - pics to follow but I'm sure mine is an early facelift model as it's got the mesh bonnet vents .... unfortunately I was in a desperate hurry for a pair of headlights to get though the mot and ended up with a pre enjoyed pre-facelift set , lights do fit ( just ) but to the trained eye you can soon spot the difference .. especailly when the bonnet is up and the pre facelift lights are slightly small pair of lights only cost £25 though so I can take the shame for now until I save up for some nice ones ... regards Chris
