thewifescar Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 I'll nip down and see these guys - do you need to tell the the settings or is in their system? cheers How did you get on? I have wear down the inside edge of both front tyres so will need to get the setup corrected.
r1ynb Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 City quey is nothing to do with the old owners.! My mate is service manager down there I belive the guy who owns west end Honda owns city quey also , they carried out 4wheel alinement on my golf r32 was very happy
thewifescar Posted December 12, 2011 Posted December 12, 2011 decided to go the other direction and booked in to Clark Motorsport in Kintore. £78 though.
bradspit1 Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 i could be interested in this. how much did it cost from city quay for the alignment? might givr them a call.
BalliSTIc Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Depends if you're looking simply for alignment (in which case, all garages tend to check is the tracking and leave it at that) or a full geometry (taking into account camber/ caster/ toe etc) in which case you'll need to look further afield. "Alignment" costs very little, but expect to pay £80 for a geometry... which is not bad considering the difference it can make to your handling. I go to ProGrip in Bonnybridge... John is a great guy, has all the best kit and sets up some of the fastest race rigs in the country. Worth the trip.
thewifescar Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 I am glad I got a full suspension geometry done. Front and rear toe were out as well as front camber. 4 tyres now on the shopping list though to make full use of the adjusted (correct) setup.
thewifescar Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 Clark Motorsport? correct, good service and explainations. recommended.
