Mazda 3 Mps

Just had a little go at the new mazda 3 MPS jesus its quick, even though they have copied the subaru bonnet its lovely.

A family friend has just put a deposit on a white one, they went in to look at a mazda 3, the dealer didnt have any so they took the mps and came back and paid a deposit for one! Im looking forward to a ride in it one day!

I saw one up close today in The Braehead shopping centre, looks pretty good for £19k & the spec was good too 2.3t 260bhp out of the box.

I passed a white one today as well, must say I liked the look of it better than the Impreza hatch.

I think it looks great ,even the recent model in red imo looks the nuts .. seriously considered one until I read a few reviews .. it had problems with torque-steer and just couldn't handle all that power through the front 2 wheels, tho the new model is meant to have improved a a lot

Still £400 odd a year road tax tho

I think its a nice looking car and it sounds nice as well - it was on my shortlist to look at when I replace the Golf however Im thinking I might just stick with something diesel, plus I think the depreciation is pretty steep if buying one outright.

Must admit, I've seen a few around and had to look twice to check it wasn't a WRX hatch! To be honest, the arch bulges are way too small to mix it up with an STI.

Maybe that's why the WRX is being upgraded to STI looks to stop people mistaking it for a Mazda
