New Project Type R

after recently purchasing an ra impreza off here i got the bug again

i heard about a sonic blue type r project for sale and had to buy it

the flywheel has sheared of the crank and destroyed the engine block and gearbox, input shaft and bellhousing

currently i am stripping loads of the 'fancy' parts off the car to fund the engine and gearbox repairs

i would rather put the car back to standardish and hopefully reliable!!!

it has loads of non standard parts which i have started to advertise-

fmic

tmoc

fp green turbo

ap brakes

safc

boost controller

coilovers

hks gauges

subaru number plate

2.1 block and cosworth pistons

red injectors???

18 inch wheels etc. etc

i am hoping to make enough money off the parts to fund an engine

hopefully get car back on the road in the next couple of months, i will add pics as the project gets underway. cheers

hey guys just a quick update -

iv started removing most of the trick bits off the car and started selling them

i got my gearbox rebuilt in to another sti casing ( cant recommend the guy in paisley enough, same day service )

started making list of all the components i will need for my rebuild

purchased an old legacy turbo as a daily driver and eventually break it for parts to rebuild my car
