Current spec is - Sti ra version 2 Custom cages full cage Pro drive seats Gems ecu Blitz nur spec Still has std suspension and brakes ( ebc blue stuff) On the look out for the usual suspension and brake up grades first ( white line kit, brembos, coilovers etc) Cheers

hello there, iv been off the forum for a few years but have recently purchased another classic impreza track toy, im looking for any advice on suspension and brake upgrades that have been tried and tested. cheers

hey guys just a quick update - iv started removing most of the trick bits off the car and started selling them i got my gearbox rebuilt in to another sti casing ( cant recommend the guy in paisley enough, same day service ) started making list of all the components i will need for my rebuild purchased an old legacy turbo as a daily driver and eventually break it for parts to rebuild my car

after recently purchasing an ra impreza off here i got the bug again i heard about a sonic blue type r project for sale and had to buy it the flywheel has sheared of the crank and destroyed the engine block and gearbox, input shaft and bellhousing currently i am stripping loads of the 'fancy' parts off the car to fund the engine and gearbox repairs i would rather put the car back to standardish and hopefully reliable!!! it has loads of non standard parts which i have started to advertise- fmic tmoc fp green turbo ap brakes safc boost controller coilovers hks gauges subaru number plate 2.1 block and cosworth pistons red injectors??? 18 inch wheels etc. etc i am hoping to make enough money off the parts to fund an engine hopefully get car back on the road in the next couple of months, i will add pics as the project gets underway. cheers
