2 Port Boost Solenoid 2003 Wrx

Hi some of you may have seen the thread referring to the fact that my03 wrx has no boost, I have checked many thing and had it In a garage today they "think" it is the solenoid as they are getting boost with it disconnected but they are looking for 180 plus vat, and I suppose it really comes down to the fact I don't trust the garage. I was hoping someone in the Edinburgh with a bit of know how could help me out to maybe swap it out if they had a spare lying around to see if this is the problem help appretiated anyone

Thanks people I picked one up today for a reasonable £25 and I'm glad to say problem solved and lesson learnt I won't be going back to the garage they wanted to charge 200 to fit the solenoid and were advising boost controller which they happened to sell for 350,

Thanks again al problem solved as for the naming and shaming I'll leave that just know might just be me I'll wait to see if any one else had had trouble with a garage in the central area
