marko72 Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 Hi. My alarm was going off last night bout 10pm. Sharon went out to check, alarm was going off, but no lights flashing. She checked car, no signs of interference etc The blue fob wouldnt work. The alarm stopped going off after 10 odd times, hasnt gone off since. The fob doesnt work so key is required to open the doors, the car wont start and key required to lock car again. Sharon checked the car later last night and it was unlocked. She locked it up. This morning fob still not working ( although red light does flash when fob pressed ) car not starting. The flashy alarm/light on the dash isnt flashing. Car was driven 50 odd miles on thurs night without issue and Im unaware of the car having any issues. I am unable to check the car myself. Could this be a simple fob battery issue, i.e. fob not working, so not switching off immob, therefore car not starting, but why would the alarm have gone off or is that a coincidence? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Cheers Mark.

Thanx could also be the fob has gone out of sync with the car,can happen from time to time and not just on subarus either,if u know some 1 with the appropriate diag then they can recode it if not its main dealer.Ryan
