Coil Pack And Leads To Borrow For A Hour

could somebody lend me there coil pack and leads for an hour to see if mine are done

i have a face lift 1997 wrx wagon and still having a problem stating. took all the plugs out and found no 2 plug was soaking in fuel and black so changed it with no 4 and took it for a run came back and no 2 again was soaking with fuel again

Swap the injectors

Swap no 2 injector over with any other of your choice, if the injector is stuck no 2 should now be running dry the other the one you swapped it with should be soaking and black!

but will there not still be fuel on it as the fuel rail passes through

When I saw Frankie the other day it was also smelling of fuel whilst only idling, not so good :o .

If it were me I'd be having a look at the injectors as soon as possible, and not driving it in the meantime. There's been a few nice machines that have caught fire recently (Split fuel rail for one of them) and wouldn't want this ending up as another statistic :icon_salut: .

P.S. Gimme a shout if you need a hand.

the smell only happens when you start her

idiling after a couple mins the smell goes away

took the injectors out and 2 seals have broken (prob due to incorrect fitting)

so i have now sourced the prob cheers to every1 for there advice.
