Great pics Marky,

pleased you managed to get a picture of Grant polishing L555BAT - he was at it non stop over the last 2 days.

Colin's cars are probably the only ones you'll see him cleaning and polishing :)

great to see those that visited the Vision stand, it makes a difference seeing a friendly face in the crowd.

and many thanks to those that bought t-shirts and raffle tickets from us

there was a rather dapper and well dressed fella at the stand yesterday, with a wee camera man and sound man in tow.

started chatting to him in the hopes that he'll buy some gear.

Managed to sell him some raffle tickets

and it wasnt until he walked away and we looked at the raffle book stubs

that we realised it was Jay Kay from Jamiroqui ;)

he's quite small in real life, just a tad taller than me!

Looks like everybody had a great time and the weather looks great compared to the monsoon last year! Who was driving the F1 car and what time did it manage?

The guy driving the F1 car was the owner, nobody famous. Was struggling all weekend with electrical problems. He was short shifting round the whole lap and to be honest was pretty poor compared to the Ferrari a few years back. Heard he did a 48 sec lap which surprised me as he looked slow.

The ferrari in 2006 did a 41.5 sec lap and wasnt really trying!

Dunc, it was De La Rosas from 2003.

Had a great day on Saturday, weather was amazing. Thanks to Chrissy and Tam for entertaining the kids they had a ball. We also managed to get out in a couple of cars round the track without waiting.

Hopefully we can get the stand looking even better for future shows.

Was up for a nosey around on Sunday...

The Ford stunt show was a laugh and the F1 car was sublime :hl:

Some nice wee runarounds in the supercar section too - including an absolutely stunning red Ferrari F599 (I think it was a 599?) :)

SIDC tent was fairly quiet when we breezed through, but the blue Blob with the gold alloys caught my eye for its almost flawless paintwork and "how deep is your polishing glove" shine ;)

Also popped by the McRae experience where Grant and Imy were holding fort - I think that Grant might have been having a Nigel Tufnel "don't even point at it - you've seen enough of that one" moment, as the McCrae car's bonnet was being pinned securely down just as we arrived :D

Only downside is that I'm burnt to a crisp noo... took ma top off when I got home and I look like a Swan Vesta in distress
