geoffg Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 Hi A local garage has a S reg P1 for sale. It's done 90,000 miles and the alloys are a bit faded. The body has a few dings too. They are asking £6995, is this a good price. I'd love to get another scobby but this seem a bit steep to me. cheers Geoff
geoffg Posted May 9, 2010 Author Posted May 9, 2010 Hi, Your right, don't know where I got S from. It's a W plate. cheers Geoff
mic Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 Hi,Your right, don't know where I got S from. It's a W plate. cheers Geoff Sounds a bit too cheap for a P1 though I'd have thought? I'm sure there will be someone come along with more knowledge of their prices
StewartyBoy Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 Check if the engine has been rebuilt. If not...step away from the Scooby! Thats actually quite cheap if the engine has been rebuilt, even if the wheels are faded. Repainting costs nowt these days to traders. One garage in Paisley has one with similar mileage for 9k but ive seen the service history and it makes War and Peace look like a learner read! Ask to see all receipts for services and work carried out. If its not satisfactory and you like the sound of the one above, drop me a line and ill get you the garages number.
kevin_bain Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 whats your budget? I have mine for sale just now, 2001 Y plate #987 low mileage Give me a shout if yor interested. Cheers Kev

RS Grant Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 Geoff, why a P1... surely a nice 4dr UK Turbo with 51k miles and a whole load of expensive bits fitted and a folder of history is a better bet?? Cheers, Grant
