Bit Of Help Needed

Hi guys i've just bought another classic as my current one is provisionally sold,

the question i have is that the car i've bought is coming back on a check from the dvla as being a 1995 which is correct as its an m reg but according to the dvla it was first registered in 2002??

would that make it an import???

the ad for the car states it as a turbo 2000 with an sti engine transplant running approx 300 bhp.

was just curious as to why it comes up as being 2002 as first year of registration.

thats more than likely what it is then mate, cos everything else checks out fine on it...
