Jon B Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 Hi guys i've just bought another classic as my current one is provisionally sold, the question i have is that the car i've bought is coming back on a check from the dvla as being a 1995 which is correct as its an m reg but according to the dvla it was first registered in 2002?? would that make it an import??? the ad for the car states it as a turbo 2000 with an sti engine transplant running approx 300 bhp.
Jon B Posted March 25, 2010 Author Posted March 25, 2010 Has it got a rear wiper? Gordy lol it hasen't, forgot all about that just find it unusual that it would be first registered in 2002 now
colin_ross Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 I bought an irish car once and had to register it with the dvla. That went down as an import.

Jon B Posted March 25, 2010 Author Posted March 25, 2010 Do all the numbers tie up with the V5? yup was just curious as to why it comes up as being 2002 as first year of registration.
StewartyBoy Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 I had a Megane Coupe as a runaround, was the older F7R 2.0 16V. They finished in 99, mine had a 52 plate on it. Found out it was an Irish import.
