Need Advise Please

Hi guys the car is a 2001 Ford Focus 1.8 TDI. The problem is there is a groaning coming from the drivers side front corner, my first thoghts was the wheel bairing so i changed that and the groaning continued i then found out that if the hub has taken a knock at some point this could cause the same sound so i changed the hub with no luck.

So what else could cause this friggin groaning ??

Changed the tyres to budgets!? Budget directionals are brutal for tyre roar, sounding almost like a bearing has gone.

When I was a skint Apprentice, I changed mine to a Triangle budget. Noise was so bad I changed a bearing as well, until someone pointed out the tyre!

Checked the driveshaft? Is the gator on the knuckle needing greased?!
