jacko324 Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 (edited) Can anyone help? Replaced my offside rear strut on my 2004 wrx but now have a loud clunking noise. Does anyone have a exploded picture of the strut to see if i have left out any parts when refitting . Im positive i put everything back on and have checked tightness of all mounting bolts Any help would be much appreciated, cheers. Edited March 6, 2010 by jacko324
mystery machine Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 Was the replacement strut brand new? The newage struts can clunk when the grease dries up and starts to break down. I believe they can be re-greased, thread here: http://forums.sidc.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=135219
