Pas Belt Issue

Had a new PAS belt fitted a few weeks ago and all was well. After a bit it started slipping on full lock turns so I tightened it a bit and all was well again. Used the car yesterday but when I got home and tried to reverse into the drive I couldn't turn the steering wheel. Finally managed to get in the drive and when I checked it out today found this

Did I just tighten it too much or could something else be the cause?

I did fit another this afternoon so hopefully that will be that.

could be too tight, was it 100% lined up on the pulleys ??
