scotsman Posted February 15, 2010 Posted February 15, 2010 I was looking to buy some prodrive springs from Scoobyparts (good offer on just now) but they say that it's saloon only and not wagon. I've got a MY01 bugeye - does the saloon and wagon have different springs? Cheers Richard.
dark Posted February 15, 2010 Posted February 15, 2010 I think the wagon springs are different; higher spring rate, bit longer.... not 100% sure. However I did run a set of P1 suspension on a MY98 wagon without any problems. Mark
scotsman Posted February 15, 2010 Author Posted February 15, 2010 Ah - thanks Mark. So possibly should be different, but they fit.
Midnight21 Posted February 15, 2010 Posted February 15, 2010 I have a set of type r suspension on my wagon ....no problems
Smiler AS Posted February 15, 2010 Posted February 15, 2010 I had P1 springs on my classic wagon and it looked great. I have seen some lowering springs that cause the back to still set a bit higher than the front, not sure if it was down to length or higher spring rate or both. But the P1 springs it looked dead lavel and handled great too.
