My06 Suspension Fit A My01 Bugeye?

Will a MY06 set of springs and shocks fit a MY01 bugeye?

From memory fronts might backs won't. Or is it the other way around?

I'm sure someone will be along to back me up or flame me!

Maybe you could say if it's an STi or not, that info may be needed.

Both are standard WRX's.

Long shot I think.

Defo an issue with straight/tapered springs at one end of the car mate - again, wait for confirmation

Yes, doesn't look promising.

My car is still on the original springs/shocks and at 9 years old with 98k on the clock, it's feel a little tired to say the least!

I know the springs are different between bug and blob so i would say no hawk ones wouldnt fit

But as your fitting the shocks as well it may fit, but i cant say for sure

I tryed bug springs on my blob the fronts fit but the rears are a differend at the top. bugs are narrower at the top

Might be worth a punt anyway and see what Duncan@Hypertech says once he has them (he wasn't sure when I phoned him).

The only think that i can think of that will stop them fitting is the top of the rears

I thought that the rear struts became 'inverted' after the late Blobs?

I assume there's more to this than just the same struts turned upside-down, but I could be wrong...
