Refilling Classic Coolant After Flushing

Recommended Posts

just wondering if there is a right way and a wrong way to refill/bleed the system?? i read somewhere about removing the top rad hose which goes to the filler tank and after filling tank u squeeze bottom hose then cover said pipe(thus creating a vacuum) this pulls the water into the system and bleeds out most of the air...

is this right?? or is there an easier way??

other thing is if i leave the cap off the car with it running should the water start to overflow from the tank???

there's no bubbles or anything in it but it does overflow...

reason i ask is i've just flushed my collant system through and want to make sure i get all the airlocks out...

cheers in advance
