How Do You Value Your Car?

Not thinking of selling but more from an insurance valuation point of view.

I know roughly how much it would take to build my car to the current spec but have no idea how much it would be worth if I were to sell it as is.

Any idea what you'd expect or be willing to pay?

in the real world its worth less than a standard 94 sti import - which isnt a lot! lol

usually when insuring a car i just go a wee bit over what i paid for it tbh, thats what ive always done in the past.

I reckon the valuation means nothing on insurance. It's only when you get an "agreed price" through specialists that it means anything. If you claim through mainstream insurance companies they will just use the current market prices and knock you down.

Need details on the mars bar (assuming it ever turns up) - fun, regular or king size? Would lso need to know if it had ever been in your pocket. Pictures would be helpful too.
