B8WSR Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Hi Folks, Just would like to know if anyone has had an exhaust done at meercat in kilbirnie? do they have a good rep? and are the prices reasnoble? And same for cc in hillington?........cheers!!!
sparky_sj04 Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 You'll probably find that a good deal of the people on here have had exhausts done by one or the other. I can only speak for Meercat and say that they are great. The quality of work is second to none. They have an extremely good and well deserved name. For example it was Meercat that Colin Mcrae used for his system on his 'money no object' Mk2 Escort. That has to say something! Check out their website and/or phone the boss (Willie) and I'm sure he will put your mind at ease. I'm also sure others will be along to add to what I've said. Prices are good too. Cheers, Mark
Richie Cross Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 I'm another very happy Meercat customer. Got a sportscat/snakehead downpipe/centre section and uppipe put on during the last couple of years with no problems. No MOT issues with the sportscat.

I think the snakehead was about £300 odd. It was a couple of years ago though. That was the downpipe, right down to the centre section with the sportscat. There should be someone along who's had it done more recently. As for any questions...PM me......and I'll ask someone else for you!!!! Edited January 15, 2010 by Richie Cross
