Some of us are going for a drive out over - anyone interested?

Sorry been told off on another site for advertising this so am winding my neck in and removing my membership - too bad was starting to enjoy getting things going. Sorry guys. Would have loved to do this but it is a no-goer for me now.

Dont worry about it Terry, I completely agree with what you are trying to do and think this is the way forward for bigger and better meets down here.

That's rediclous! Terry, what your doing is excellent and as far as I'm concerned, any proactive attempt to increase the accessibility of meets (regardless of what forum they where organised on) is a bloody good thing and any attempt to sway your enthusiasm is petty and childish.

Keep doing what you're doing mate, it is appreciated! :D

Why has someone had a go? By doing this it will only push possible members away.

Everyone is struggling for membership but no club should reject the hand of friendship. The Burns and McRae memorial relays proved that subaru owners love to come together to show there love for the car that they drive, to talk about their expereinces and to share their knowledge.

I only wish that Ed and i could get down that far like we used to but for us we are awaiting his redundancy and so have to save all pennies possible.

If we (and JD AND VIX) had given up when the going was tough then i have to say i really do not think the south west would have an active group within sidc! S*** get thrown at you for many reasons - Jealousy and Envy being the biggest! DO NOT ALLOW THIS TO STOP YOU.

Keep going mate, Im sure you can see by the replies that your attempts are appreciated oh and as once said to me by the chairman of this club - Mr Phil Stephens:-

" You do NOT need to be an Regional Organisers Title to arrange or organise meets "

I did not like the threatening e-mail and I do not think this forum or any other needs the hassle, if anyone can delete this entire thread then it would be best so new folks are not frightened away. I can hack it, the forums cannot. I do not know which forum the person came from. I do lnow there ip address even though they have deleted their e-mail addy. I am dealing with it but need to have my account deleted.

nah mate - SW quite crowded with "groups" - some more mature than others..................some people tend to think they are "God like " thus anything other than what they are organising is seen as a threat......................in 6 years of Scooby Ownership and being a member of various Forums 99% people are good people however the other 1% are real nasty B"%&*rds and these are the ones that think a bit of power on a Forum and they think they are better than the rest of us mere mortals
