Megy Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 (edited) Over the weekend I installed a replacement stereo, pioneer, and all went well untill I tried it out, the radio tuner would not tune into any stations, drove to a different area and would only pick up 1 or 2 stations, I could manually tune it to radio1 but it wouldnt lock or retune etc. Has anyone else had a problem when changing the stereo on a MY06 with the integral areial? If so, what did you do to fix it? It could always be the stereo thats faulty. Cheers, Ian Edited December 15, 2009 by Megy
Phil MC Posted December 14, 2009 Posted December 14, 2009 I had a similar problem with my STi. It turned out to be a bent pin on my ISO adapter. Worth checking all the pin connections are good. Phil

Cheers, Ian I have just phoned the place I bought the stereo from and apparently the integral arial is a powered/boosted one, so needs to be connected to the loom adapter, I will have a go with it this evening and see. Sounds a plausible reason I suppose.

All sorted now and I can pick up LOADS of stations.
