Scooby Hoo? Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Not bad for such an old car. Having driven this car it's really all about the TOTAL package and not a Dyno run. This is the most complete road car it's been my pleasure to pilot. Is it not time to sell Clive? You must be feed up with it by now.
RB5.309 Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 Nice results.... Was it what you expected? Bet thats fun to drive in the rain

Times that by millions and it probably equals your pension deficit Hugh. And I agree, it is a complete car and while they are impressive figures it is only one part of the car that has been modified both fairly radically and with a sympathetic touch.
col_2 Posted December 10, 2009 Posted December 10, 2009 well done clive, alot of hard work as gone into your car its now in a class of super cars must be a great feeling, i would love to see your car in the hands of the stig & see the results on the track board
fudge Posted December 10, 2009 Author Posted December 10, 2009 Thanks guys. Hows Hugh? long time no see. If you are about this coming Sat Hugh I am at Brands all day "Open pit track day". Mikkers: the car that has been modified both fairly radically and with a sympathetic touch." nice way of putting it mate. RB5: To be honest I would have been happy, and was expecting around the 530 mark. Once 500 is reached every 10 hp is very hard to achieve so I was over the moon and 560. Col: Thanks mate. I gave the car it's first "balls out driving" session at Snetterton about 6 weeks ago and late pm we found the optimum set up. There were some pretty fierce cars on track including some TA cars and NOTHING came close to us. I was truly shocked at how well it went. I do have the opportunity of taking the power much higher but it's mad to drive now so I am calling it a day. Having a baffled sump installed in Feb as the mechanical grip was so good on Hankooks it will prove a problem with oil surge on 888's. See you all soon
prodrive tony Posted December 12, 2009 Posted December 12, 2009 Well done Clive Great figures, shows how much time, money and grief it takes to get 500+ bhp. Shows up the blaggers!
