on topic - Onm the HID thing, I heards recently that you can get reflector friendly HiD bulbs (somtimes rated 'R' or something) which have a special filter on the bulb to help stop excessive light scatter when using with reflector based lamps

If this is any help to you looked in the Japanese owner's manual i have for the blobeye Jdm Sti and the Hid bulbs are 35w D2R
