Cheers Iain #4 packed in, cool i will price a new crank also. never been mapped for uk fuel always run on vpower and motul oil. cars pretty much standard apart from full magnex exhaust system. never had any problems previously apart from a MAF sensor packing in just after buying the motor 3-4yr ago.

The rear passenger cylinder as you look in the engine bay then? I could almost say for cartain that the big end would have been damaged due to det', it is very, very common on the Import cars even running on V-Power you still need to run a good octane booster or better still get the car mapped. Is the intake filter standard too? Cheers Iain

frank c Posted November 8, 2009 Posted November 8, 2009 Had a blether once with your old man and was lead to believe that the car had been mapped and possibly ran a slightly bigger turbo. Has it been de-tuned since or always been standard spec ?. I take it the figures in your signature are just with an exhaust ?
