lumsden26 Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 i'd check all your hoses are connect'd properly? have you had it for a drive? take it there's a lack of power?
colin_ross Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Do you run a maf sensor or have you deleted it? If you still have it a boost leak would make the car overfuel like crazy. You would know from the smell, jerky response and plumes of black smoke when you booted it. If you don't have any of these symptoms I would make sure the circlip on your actuator arm hasn't come off. It's a very common problem but thankfully a cheap and easy fix.
k13nay Posted October 7, 2009 Author Posted October 7, 2009 yes still have the maf no smoke or anything all hoses seem to be on and tight
patsy Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 yes still have the maf no smoke or anything all hoses seem to be on and tight Mine done this a while back. On second it was working fine and next it had no boost at all. Can you hear it spooling up or what? Checked the wee cir clip that holds the actuator arm? My problem turned out to be that my decat flexi joint up-pipe had giving up and fed itself to my turbo!
colin_ross Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 (edited) That can happen too but isn't as easy to diagnose, check the simple stuff first. Edited October 7, 2009 by Playsatan2
