Recommended Posts

Ok all, as promised!

There are 2 stages to this rally, no information for this years event has been released yet and the official website www.tempestrally.com has a "coming soon" message, but I will keep an eye out.

I would imagine it would be a similar setup as last year, to give you a rough idea, here is last years timetable, location and pricing information:

Rushmoor Arena MAP: http://www.tempestrally.com/downloads/Rushmoor.pdf

Parking is free for visitors to Rushmoor Arena in the Eelmoor Driver Training area off the A323 Fleet Road. As well as four special stages being run at Rushmoor, spectators will also be able to see the cars in the service area as they are readied for the event and re-checked during the day.

Entry to Rushmoor is £10 per adult with children under the age of 12 admitted free.

Hey guys,

Just got back from Rally GB in Wales, I thought I'd be clever by posting the meeting times using my 3G laptop while I was away, but I couldn't get any signal!

I would suggest that we meet at the Reading Gate Retail Park, M4, J11 near McDonalds (where the Reading Jap meet is held) RG2 0QG @ 7:30am on Saturday 7th November.

We should then arrive at the 1st stage of the day @ around 8:00 - 8:30 am

Stage times are as follows:

1st Car End

Yateley TEMPEST 2 – SS21 09:25 10:10

TEMPEST 4 – SS4 12:30 13:15

TEMPEST 4 – SS8 15:01 15:46

TEMPEST 2 – SS29 15:58 16:43

Warren TEMPEST 2 - SS22 09:47 10:32

TEMPEST 4 - SS5 12:52 13:37

TEMPEST 4 – SS9 15:23 16:08

TEMPEST 2 – SS30 16:20 17:05

If you guys have any questions, please ask!

Cheers,

Mike

Nice meeting you all and hope to also see you on Sunday. Let's keep the momentum building for our region.

That was a great day out. My first time spectating at a proper rally and certainly not my last.

Shame we got seperated; that's not the first time TomTom has made me look like a prat!

1st of the 4WD cars was a blobeye Impreza WRC driven by Will Nicholls. This photo I found from this years Sunseeker Rally.

He rolled it a couple of weeks ago! Action starts at 3:45 but this whole Youtube clip is worth watching.

News article

There was mention of a spectacular jump on a non-spectator stage. Somebody on SN has some great pics - SN pics
